How to Create and Use the WhatsApp Global Link in GoHighLevel

The Global Link allows you to access all your connected WhatsApp instances through a single link in GoHighLevel, without needing to create individual links for each instance.

📺 Video Tutorial:

Step by Step

  1. Access GoHighLevel
  2. Go to the "Custom Links" section
  3. Click on "Create"

Fill in the fields as follows:

  • Link Name: Choose any name you want (e.g., "WhatsApp Global" or "Stevo WhatsApp")
  • URL: Paste exactly this URL:
  https://stevo.chat/ghl-location/{{location.id}}
  • ⚠️ Important: The URL contains the {{location.id}} parameter that automatically verifies if your account is connected

3. Set Permissions

  • Choose the roles/permissions that will have access to the link
  • You can make it available to all users or only to specific roles
  • Tip: To use across all sub-accounts, configure permissions accordingly

4. Save and Use

  1. Click "Save" to finish creation
  2. The link will appear as a button in your GHL interface
  3. When you click the link, you'll automatically see all connected instances

5. How It Works

  • Visible Instances: Only instances that are connected in your GHL will appear in the list
  • Direct Access: Click on any instance in the list to open it directly
  • Automatic Update: When you connect a new instance in Stevo, it will automatically appear in the list
  • Reload Page: If you just connected an instance, reload (F5) the page to view it

Usage Example

  1. Connect a new instance in the Stevo panel
  2. Configure in GHL with the desired reference number
  3. Reload the GHL page
  4. The new instance will appear in the Global Link list

URL to insert in all sub-accounts:

https://stevo.chat/ghl-location/{{location.id}}

Copy and paste this link when creating the Custom Link in each GoHighLevel sub-account.

Important Notes

✅ All Stevo instances are unique, exclusive, and independent

✅ The Global Link automatically verifies which instances are connected to your account

✅ No need to create multiple links - a single link accesses all your instances

✅ The {{location.id}} parameter is dynamic and works automatically for each sub-account
